HOSHIT SECOND SEASON OF xxxHOLiC   ---   TWO YEARS LATER


That first episode fucking pwn'd! 
I'm super excited about the second season and for seeing more of Larg! Animated Larg is major win and there hasn't been enough of Mokona in Holic lately. 

The art was sooooo pretty and it was like 10 times better than the first season. I wasn't very fond of the first season's art. However, seeing crappy art in season one could have also been attributed to shitty YouTube. Whatever the case is I think season two is going to be MUCH better than season one. 

There's just so much to look forward to this season!  MAOR PIPEFOX AND LARG
One thing I'm not looking forward to is the Sakura and Syaoran crossover; I don't want to get my hopes up ... I just don't think it's going to happen at all because of copyright shit and how all TRC references were cut from the first season. Oh well, I basically just want to see the whole spider shit and Kohane animated. 
Kohane is one of my favorite characters from Holic. At least I think she's my favorite my character ... There's a high probability that I just have sympathy for her but I suppose receiving any feeling from me is a form of favoritism? o.O  

Watanuki in a dress, wuuuuut? Since Doumeki has already donned female attire Watanuki had to as well? I was a bit surprised that Watanuki wasn't freaking out or bitching all over the place. The only thing he asked was, "Why do I have to be Alice?" and he didn't sound a bit angry when he asked. If anything he just sounded a tad annoyed. 

My favorite part of episode one was Maru and Moro playing tic-tac-toe on the back of a sleeping Mokona. Oh! There was also the part where Mokona jacked a bowel of rice out of Watanuki's hand. The ending theme was also a favorite; to be specific, just the images were a fav of mine. The many colors and patterns of Mokona reminded me of the Mokona Doodler episode from TRC season 2 and it also reminded me of the pink elephants on parade segment from Dumbo ... That's something that I would have preferred to not be reminded. That part of the movie would freak me out when I was younger and it STILL freaks me out to even think about it. 

Great ... once again my childhood memories have tarnished something wonderful  *sigh* -__-  
I think I'll take a trip down some stairs, literally, so that I may forget the creepy images burned into my mind. THANKS A LOT DISNEY! >O 


Maybe I'll add some screencaps in about a month or two ... Yeah, that's a bit off from now but I'm lazy and I still haven't finished capping the second OVA of TRC and I haven't even watched the third OVA yet. Yes, I'm a bit pathetic.
