I'm fucking confused here. For the past five, or so chapters, I have been totally fucking lost. I have no clue what the hell is happening in Holic-land anymore. I actually liked Holic more than Tsubasa but because of all the confusion and shit it's causing me, I'm starting to like Tsubasa more. That makes me a bit sad since I read Holic before I read Tsubasa. Other reasons why Holic > Tsubasa: Mokona Larg Modoki and Yuuko!
Yuuko is cracktastic but hasn't been for the past few chapters. She looks so lonely and sad (even more than what she did before). It's kind of weird not seeing her getting drunk with Mokona at least once every chapter. She's the Fai of Holic ... but that seems a bit insulting to say that about her ...
Back to the reason why I are confused ... Well I guess it had to do with Yuuko. She kind of mentioned some shit to Watanuki asking him what he would do if this was really all a dream. Ever since that happened I've been totally confused. Is Watanuki real or what? I have this feeling that he's probably really dead and that maybe he's the one who died instead of it being his parents who had died ...
Maybe he really died when he fell from the window? I'm just confused about the dream shit and how he dreams when he's awake and Syaoran always telling him not to disappear. Oh! He could be in like ... comatose or something since he fell from the window if he really is alive/real. ... Srsly, that would be totally CLAMP-kei (LAWLS kei XD) if Watanuki is really dead or some shit. They're really confusing at times but that's what makes CLAMP sooooo awesome!
This shit better not turn out to be like Final Fantasy X ... Watanuki better not be the dream of some spirit shit. Things started to get complicated once we found out that Watanuki has some relation to Syaoran. Why the hell are Syaoran and Watanuki compared to each other? I don't get it ... all I know is that I've obviously missed some important detail in Holic ...
I miss the old Holic. What happened to the good ol'days where Yuuko would mention *hitsuzen every time she had a customer and when Watanuki had a mission. I also miss the life lessons and observations of human nature that Holic used to present. With the new arc I suppose the lesson will be on distinguishing dreams from reality and how dreams can become reality if you truly wish for it.
Holic, I no longer understand you ... you've changed and that makes me sad T__T
I'll keep reading you though because you're simultaneously simple and elaborate in both your art and story.
* "'Hitsuzen' ... A naturally foreordained event.
A state in which other outcomes are impossible.
A result which can only be obtained by a single casualty,
and other causalities would necessarily create different results."
